Back in October, I was invited by Bath Conference Bureau to visit the city and meet lots of venues.
We started the day with a tour of the MGallery Francis Hotel Bath.
We then had a walking tour (in the rain) by a Tour Guide to learn some history of the city. During the tour we visited the Cross Baths (part of the Thermae Spa) and also the Assembly Rooms.
Lunch was at the newly refurbished Royal Crescent Hotel, which has just had millions spent on it.
The afternoon was then spent at Bailbrook House (a Handpicked venue) for a networking session with lots of venues from Bath.
These included the Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel, Bowood, Hilton and more unusual venues too.
The evening was finished with dinner at the Roman Baths and Pump Room. What a fantastic setting for any evening event. (See picture)
The big news of the event is that Apex Hotel are spending £35m to open a new hotel in Bath in 2016. It will have over 170 bedrooms and large conference space.
A busy but well organised event.
