Menzies Group went a little off the radar when they sold some of their hotels a few years ago.  They then bought a number of old Thistle Hotels which were in dire need of not just money, but love and attention. These hotels have now received the Menzies treatment and in cases such as Strathallen, Birmingham – they have also received their 4th star.
