This week E&V have confirmed a conference for 240 delegates at The Birmingham Conference & Events Centre for one of our clients.
The BCEC is located in the heart of Birmingham’s City centre, just a minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street station. Located over two floors, the BCEC boasts over 2,000 square meters of flexible space, which can accommodate over 1,000 delegates – offering some of the largest event space in the City. The venue space comprises of 24 dedicated meeting rooms, each a blank canvas and many fully-flexible with fold-away sound proofed walls and ample breakout space ideal for a full range of corporate and private events including; conferences, meetings, exhibitions, drinks receptions and gala dinners.
Our client is using the Mercian Suite for their event. Dominating the second floor the Mercian has it’s own private access and a large pre-function reception space overlooking Hill Street, which is ideal for delegate registration and refreshments. The Mercian is fully flexible and can be divided into two separate event spaces or used in tandem for a single multi-use event. The function suite features surround sound Bose speakers, an inbuilt 5m NEC screen for presentations and is a blank canvas to accommodate staging or pod-style exhibition space making this the ideal venue for our clients event.
