E&V recently met with a representative from Accor Group.\u00a0 Here you can read some of the latest developments and News within the group:<\/strong><\/p>\n

ACCOR <\/strong>currently have 164 hotels in the UK<\/strong> <\/em>and aim to have over 300 by end 2014<\/strong>.<\/em>
\nThe majority of growth can be seen through the Mercure <\/strong><\/em>brand<\/p>\n

* Mercure – <\/em><\/strong>there are 13 new hotels within the brand, making 45 in total.
\nThese tend to be smaller, individual properties with meeting space – either top end of 3 star, or 4 star<\/p>\n

* Sofitel <\/strong><\/em>– offer a 5 star luxury brand<\/p>\n

*\u00a0 <\/strong><\/em>MGallery<\/em> <\/strong>– hotels will be a boutique version of the Mercure\u00a0 “A collection of unique hotels of remarkable character – each hotel tells its own story”.<\/p>\n

* <\/strong><\/em>The St Ermin’s Hotel London –<\/em><\/strong> reopened as a 4 star deluxe luxury hotel under the MGallery collection<\/p>\n

* Pullman – <\/strong><\/em>a 4 star business hotel will open in London later in the year\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ………….. \u00a0 WATCH THIS SPACE for the announcement!!!<\/strong> <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

* Novotel <\/strong><\/em>– no new openings to announce.\u00a0 However many have undergone refurbishments;\u00a0 Leeds, Manchester, York and Birmingham. Novotel Glasgow has refurbished bedrooms and public areas<\/p>\n

* All Seasons<\/strong><\/em> – these are 3 star properties, only 3 in UK with meeting space. \u00a0
\n“These Hotels are not to be confused with the Four Seasons … which is a very different product.”<\/em><\/p>\n

* IBIS <\/strong><\/em>– offer a budget brand of hotels, note that standards differ from location to location<\/p>\n
