My role is to look after Marketing and Business Development and I enjoy my job so much I have been with Events & Venues for 15 years! Events & Venues doesn’t need a huge marketing budget as most business is from recommendations so most of my time is keeping in contact with existing clients and recognising trends.
I was previously Events Manager for a computer software company and worked closely with Events & Venues using their venue finding and accommodation booking service. I moved to join the E&V team when the company won the Conference Bristol contract booking business into the City.
I love travelling and took a year out to travel the US after my studies so I do enjoy fam trip events which E&V receive throughout the year. It’s a fantastic way to get to know new venues and locations throughout the UK and Europe. I can be competitive and always up for any challenge with outdoor pursuits & activities.
Puddings are my favourite course of any meal. Pimm’s is my drink, probably because I love the summer. I can only enjoy a cup of tea with a biscuit, shortbread even better!!
I do like to talk, so rarely known to make a ‘quick’ phone call.
