De Vere Group visit E&V Offices

De Vere have sold a couple of their venues recently, both the Royal Bath and Daresbury  Park Hotels have been sold to Britannia.

Other recent updates:
* The group is spending on bedroom upgrades.  The Grand Brighton programme is starting now
* Mottram Hall, Macclesfield - converting separate old Golf House into a Conference Centre taking up to 200 delegates
 

De Vere have taken over on various agreements – either aiding marketing or managing venues in full:
- O2
- Cineworld
- East Midlands Conference Centre – which they have taken over completely, but some profits will go back to the University.  Project is due to finish 2nd November
- Colmore Gate Birmingham City Centre is a non residential property.  Conference facilities are situated over 2 floors, taking a maximum of 160 theatre style
- Preferred partner of The Studio 
- Conference Aston – preferred partner
- Weetwood Hall Leeds – also a preferred partner so again aiding marketing

* The Brigade, SE1 London - De Vere will see this historic Fire Station building  refurbished into a Bar & Bistro, cook school, plus dedicated private club and dining rooms.  Located close to London Bridge tube
 

* Latimer Place, Chesham - lost the Price Waterhouse contract to another location so there are good rates to be had there

* Grand Brighton lost a large meeting booking this July so really good rates available
